Huit écoles pour se préparer à la vie professionnelle
Ouvertes aux titulaires d’un diplôme de niveau Bac +3 (licence, bachelor ou équivalent international), les formations de deuxième cycle sont dispensées sur notre campus parisien, au sein de huit écoles professionnelles. Chacune d’elles s’appuie sur un projet pédagogique original, alliant savoirs fondamentaux, approche interdisciplinaire, expertise sectorielle et développement de compétences professionnelles. D’une durée de deux ans, ces formations sont nourries par la recherche et portées par une pédagogie active, conçue pour favoriser l’insertion professionnelle.
Trente parcours de master
Chaque école propose, au sein de ses masters, un large éventail de spécialisations en lien étroit avec les secteurs professionnels et les métiers auxquels elle prépare les étudiants. Elles donnent, pour la plupart, accès à des doubles diplômes et certaines formations offrent la possibilité d’un parcours en apprentissage en deuxième année. Les étudiants peuvent également choisir d’effectuer une année de césure entre la première et la deuxième année de master afin de renforcer leur expérience professionnelle. La deuxième année comprend un semestre dit “hors les murs”, qui peut prendre la forme d’un stage, d’un séjour d’études à l’international ou de la rédaction d’un mémoire de recherche. Enfin, nos écoles proposent également des programmes de master d'un an destinés aux jeunes professionnels.
Focus
Le diplôme de l’IEP de Paris est un diplôme d’établissement de niveau master (Bac+5) qui délivre, selon les dispositions de l’article D.612-34 du Code de l’Éducation Nationale, le grade universitaire de Master.

School of Public Affairs
The School of Public Affairs prepares students to work in public administration or in any field related to public affairs in the public or the private sector, at local, national or international level.
The School of Public Affairs prepares students for the following programmes:
Both programmes offer 11 specialisation tracks in all areas of public affairs. They are open to apprenticeships.
The School also offers access to 21 dual degrees.
Paris School of International Affairs
The Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) offers specialised programmes in the most salient fields of international affairs, preparing students for international careers in all sectors around the world, including international organisations, think tanks and multinational corporations.
The Paris School of International Affairs prepares students for the following programmes:
- Master in International Security
- Master in International Governance and Diplomacy
- Master in International Economic Policy
- Master in International Development
- Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action
- Master in Environmental Policy
- Master in International Energy Transitions
- Master in Technology and Global Affairs
- Joint Master in Journalism and International Affairs
- Master in Advanced Global Studies (One-Year Master)
With a choice of 5 regional concentrations and 12 thematic concentrations, each student's master's programme is personalised and specialised. The 8 two-year master's programmes are open to apprenticeships.
The School also offers access to 15 dual degrees.
Law School
The Sciences Po Law School trains the most talented legal professionals, whether they hope to join the Bar, work in business, or economic regulation agencies, NGOs the judiciary and more.
The Law School prepares students for the following programmes:
Urban School
The Urban School trains professionals capable of designing, implementing and supporting major changes in cities and regions, to build fairer and sustainable living spaces.
The Urban School prepares students for the following programmes:
- Master in Regional and Urban Strategy
- Master Urban Governance, Policy and Planning
- Master in Urban Planning
Students may choose to complete an apprenticeship as part of the Master in Regional and Urban Strategy.
The school also offers access to 6 dual degrees.
School of Management and Impact
The School of Management and Impact trains change-making entrepreneurs in all areas of business: management, finance and strategy, business development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), human resources, communications and marketing, media and creative industries' management.
The School of Management and Impact prepares students for the following programmes:
- Master in International Business and Sustainability
- Master in Finance and Strategy
- Master in HR & Sustainable Governance
- Master in Communications, Media and Creative Industries
- Master Communication, médias et industries créatives (French track)
- Master in Marketing: New Luxury & Art de Vivre
- Joint Master of Law and Finance
Students may choose to complete an apprenticeship as part of the Masters in Finance and Strategy, Human Resources and Communications.
The school also offers access to 12 dual degrees.
School of Journalism
With a focus on ethics, digital technologies, the practical conditions of news production, and in-depth knowledge of national and international issues, the Sciences Po Journalism School educates journalists of the highest calibre. It trains students to report on current affairs and produce high-quality news in all time frames and formats.
The Journalism School prepares students for the following programmes:
- Master in Journalism
- Master in Investigations, Analysis and Information Integrity
- Joint master in Journalism and International Affairs
Students may choose to complete an apprenticeship as part of the Master in Journalism.
The school also offers access to a dual degree.
School of Research
In an international and interdisciplinary environment, the School of Research welcomes students who want to train for or through research.
The School of Research prepares students for the following programmes:

Paris Climate School
The first European School dedicated to ecological transition, the Paris Climate School trains a new generation of decision-makers in the public and private sectors, giving them the tools they need to innovate and drive environmental transformation in companies and governments at the highest level.

Master's dual degrees
Sciences Po has collaborated with internationally renowned universities to offer dual-degree programmes at both the Master's and PhD levels. These programmes provide a multidisciplinary approach, dual expertise, fluency in multiple languages, and multicultural experience, resulting in graduates with profiles highly valued by recruiters across various sectors.
Most dual-degree programmes are conducted in English. Students enrolled in these programmes can utilise their time at Sciences Po to learn French and become multilingual professionals.
