Some key information to know:
The Sciences Po Library is located on two sites:
- The Saint-Guillaume Library, 27 rue Saint-Guillaume
- The Saint-Thomas Library, 1 place Saint-Thomas d'Aquin
We invite you to read the collections repartition between the two sites before coming.
Before confirming your application, please note that major renovation work will be taking place in the Sciences Po libraries from Monday 22 June until the end of your subscription period.
This work will significantly affect your working conditions within the library during your subscription period.
Access to our study areas as well as access to our collections will be restricted.
- The Saint Thomas Library and its collections will be accessible up to and including Friday 19 June (complete closure from Monday 22 June).
- Requests for items from the library’s stacks can be fulfilled up to and including Tuesday 21 July (closure from Wednesday 22 July).
- Requests for items from the library’s remote stacks can be fulfilled up to 12 noon on Thursday 23 July (closure from Friday 24 July).
The Saint-Guillaume Library will remain open until Thursday 30 July inclusive, and the collections in the reading room will remain accessible (link to opening hours https://www.sciencespo.fr/bibliotheque/fr/utiliser-la-bibliotheque/informations-pratiques/horaires/ )
We are open during the summer from Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to 9.30 pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our printed collections in the reading rooms represent only a small part of our holdings. To explore the entire collection, we recommend using our Catalogue. From this interface, you can easily send your loan requests and choose your pick-up location (the reception desk at Saint-Guillaume, the automatic lockers at Saint-Guillaume, or the automatic lockers at Saint-Thomas).
Our digital collections are also accessible via the Catalogue. The Digital Library gives you access to certain archival collections and our digitised collections.
Seats on the 5th floor of the Saint-Guillaume Library are subject to reservation: before your visit, reserve your seat online to sit in these areas or choose one of the open-access areas.
