Henri de Castries Scholarship
Sciences Po's desire to attract the brightest and most deserving students coincides with the spirit of AXA to support transatlantic bonds, and the vision of Henri de Castries to foster French-American relations.
Through the Henri de Castries Scholarship, Sciences Po will offer a merit-based scholarship for students in order to help them sustain their stay in France during their studies. Students who apply to the Henri de Castries Scholarship can be enrolled in either the Columbia or Berkeley dual BA program with Sciences Po.
The $10,000 scholarship is awarded on an annual basis for one year of study only.
The first Henri de Castries Scholarship was awarded in 2017.
American or French national, admitted at Sciences Po's dual BA with Columbia University or Berkeley University
Applicants will submit materials to the US Sciences Po Foundation including:
- Completed application information form (PDF, 45 Ko)
- Personal statement describing academic and other interest (1,500 words)
- Personal statement explaining motivation for a dual Franco-American program (1,500 words)
The Henri de Castries Scholarship will be awarded by a Selection Committee composed of one executive of Axa, one representative of the US Sciences Po Foundation and one representative of Sciences Po
Applicants will apply by May 17, 2020.
