Luksic scholarship for public service at Sciences Po

The Luksic Scholarship for Public Service at Sciences Po is designed to enable deserving Chilean students to pursue a Master’s degree at Sciences Po’s School of Public Affairs or the Paris School of International Affairs. This scholarship has been made possible thanks to the support of the Luksic Foundation, which seeks to connect Chile with universities around the world.

Eligibility

The scholarship is intended for students who show a deep interest in France, Franco-Chilean relations, public and international affairs, and public service. It is awarded on the basis of criteria of excellence, social criteria, and is subject to the following prerequisites:

  • The recipient must be a Chilean national who ordinarily resides in Chile and without dual citizenship from an EU country. Chilean nationals currently living outside Chile solely for the purpose of study and who maintain a primary residence in Chile shall be deemed to be ordinarily resident in Chile.
  • The recipient must gain admission to a master’s program at Sciences Po’s School of Public Affairs or the Paris School of International Affairs.

Amount

The scholarship includes full tuition fees and living stipend for 2 years, covering a 2-year Master at Sciences Po’s School of Public Affairs or the Paris School of International Affairs. In the first year, the scholarship also includes a stipend to cover the arrival costs.

Please note: should the recipient cease their studies at Sciences Po at any point during the 2 years, payment of the scholarship will be terminated definitively.

The application process

All candidates must first apply to a master’s program at Sciences Po via the international admissions procedure. In parallel, candidates must fill out this application form indicating their interest in applying for the Luksic Scholarship for Public Service at Sciences Po. Through this form, candidates must submit a CV and a motivation letter (maximum 2 pages) addressed to the scholarship selection committee.

Application deadline: Candidates must submit their complete application to the Master’s programs via the Sciences Po international admissions procedure, as well as the scholarship application form, by January 4, 2026 at the latest. No application submitted after this deadline will be considered for the scholarship.
