Règlement
Désireux de récompenser et promouvoir les travaux de chercheurs portant sur le XIXe siècle, le Comité de Liaison des Associations Dix-neuviémistes (CL 19) a créé un prix annuel destiné à couronner une thèse de doctorat ou un mémoire de troisième cycle portant sur le XIXe siècle (1789-1914).
Ce prix a été décerné pour la première fois en 2016, dans l’esprit du CL 19, qui réunit sociétés savantes, groupes de recherche, musées, bibliothèques et institutions culturelles concernées par l’étude du XIXe siècle.
ARTICLE 1 – Modalités d’attribution Le Prix est attribué tous les ans par la Présidente du jury du Prix de recherche des associations dix-neuviémistes, sur proposition du jury réuni pour examiner les travaux soumis. Le jury peut proposer de ne pas attribuer le Prix si aucune des thèses déposées ne lui paraît avoir les qualités requises.
ARTICLE 2 – Conditions d’attribution Les candidats, de nationalité française ou étrangère, devront avoir soutenu avec succès, au cours des deux années précédant la date de son dépôt auprès du jury, une thèse de doctorat ou un mémoire de troisième cycle rédigé(e) en français et portant sur le XIXe siècle (1789- 1914). Chaque doctorat ou mémoire de troisième cycle ne peut être présenté qu’une fois pour l’attribution du Prix. Il est demandé au lauréat ou à la lauréate de faire figurer dans l’ouvrage publié, par un bandeau ou par une mention en page de garde, que le Prix Ary Scheffer des associations dix-neuviémistes lui a été attribué (pour aide à la publication).
ARTICLE 3 – Montant Le montant du Prix est fixé chaque année par le jury du Prix. Ce Prix est destiné à aider à la publication de la thèse et à la poursuite des travaux de recherche du lauréat. Outre le Prix de thèse, des accessits pourront être attribués à deux autres candidats au plus, afin de récompenser la qualité de leurs travaux et de favoriser par des moyens non-financiers la publication et la diffusion de leur recherche.
ARTICLE 4 – Jury Le jury du Prix de thèse du CL 19 est présidé par Mme Gaëlle Rio, directrice du Musée de la Vie romantique. Le jury est composé, en plus du président, de douze à quinze membres issus des différentes associations représentées au sein du CL 19, sur la base du volontariat. La liste des membres du jury est publiée chaque année sur le site du CL 19. Le jury se réserve le droit de faire appel à des experts indépendants pour exprimer leur avis sur les thèses proposées.
ARTICLE 5 – Modalités de candidature. Les candidats au Prix de thèse doivent fournir, en format .pdf exclusivement, la thèse de doctorat ou le mémoire de troisième cycle soumis au jury (privilégier les PJ ou les liens pérennes), le rapport de soutenance, la copie d’une pièce d’identité, une attestation de l’obtention du diplôme de troisième cycle et un C.V. sans liste de publications.

Postdoctoral Fellow - Democracy in History Workgroup of the Democracy
The newly formed Democracy Institute at the Central European University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position within its working group focusing on the historical dimensions of the contestation of democracy and the role of historical knowledge in and for open society. The chosen candidate will be a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Democracy Institute. Apart from pursuing her/his research, the fellow will have to help with constructing and consolidating an innovative interdisciplinary international research network, bringing together scholars dealing with different aspects of democratic and anti-democratic discourses and movements relevant to our understanding of current challenges to liberal democracy. The position will thus combine research and organizational tasks. We seek applicants with a strong publication record in the research area, familiarity with the historical contexts of Eastern and Central Europe, and a keen interest in networking and institution building. We particularly encourage candidates who can build broad interdisciplinary research collaborations within and outside of CEU. The successful candidate will be working in Budapest but might occasionally be requested to teach courses at CEU PU in Vienna, Austria.

IEG Fellowships for Doctoral Students
The Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) awards 8–10 fellowships for international doctoral students in European history, the history of religion, historical theology, or other historical disciplines. The IEG funds PhD projects on European history from the early modern period until 1989/90. We are particularly interested in projects
- with a comparative or cross-border approach,
- on European history in its relation to the wider world, or
- on topics of intellectual and religious history.
WHAT WE OFFER
The IEG Fellowships provide a unique opportunity to pursue your individual PhD project while living and working for 6–12 months at the Institute in Mainz. The monthly stipend is € 1,350. Additionally, you can apply for family or child allowance.

Compétences :
- contribuer à l’organisation des manifestations scientifiques du Centre, en lien avec ses partenaires tchèques et étrangers ;
- assister le directeur dans sa gestion courante du CEFRES (correspondance, comptabilité, etc.) ;
- contribuer à l’animation numérique du centre (site Internet trilingue, newsletter, carnet de recherche, page Facebook, etc.) ;
- traduire des documents du tchèque au français et réciproquement ;
- assurer la liaison entre l’administration du CEFRES et les administrations des partenaires académiques ;
- participer à l’encadrement des stagiaires du CEFRES ;
- assurer l’accueil du CEFRES aux visiteurs extérieurs.
