Online Registration Guide

Before registering

You can check all the information linked to your curriculum and your language levels on your academic profile page. If any of the information is missing or incorrect, contact the Academic Assistants.

Before the registration period starts it is essential to check your course offering, to double-check the registration calendar and to sign in to your student account so as to verify your information.

It is essential to check that this information is exact and to contact the relevant departments should you notice any missing information or errors.

Registration process

You can register for courses on the "academic regulations" page, by simply reading the instructions carefully and following the order in which the different courses are presented.

Registration confirmation is not required.

See the video: choosing a course, step by step

During the registration process, you will be able to drop courses you have chosen by mistake.

However, you are not permitted to drop courses to which you have been signed up by the Academic Assistants.

See the video: how to drop a course you have registered for by mistake?

It is important to check your registrations. During the registration period, the "current schedule" page displays all of the courses you have registered for.

Outside the registration period, you will need to consult your online detailed schedule or your online schedule (graphic).

Specific cases

In some rare cases, your account can be restricted and thus prevent you from registering.

You may encounter three types of restriction:

  • Administrative restriction, indicated by the message "blocage - restriction de service" ("restricted service");
  • Evaluation restriction, if you have failed to provide evaluations for all of your courses;
  • Placement year restriction for which you need to contact the Administrative registration department

See the video: what to do if your account is restricted?

According to your course offering you are limited by a credit ceiling.

If your credit ceiling is too low, contact the academic assistants.

See the video: what to do if you exceed your credits limit?

These classes depend on your language proficiency levels, you must check that they are up to date before the online registration period.

If there is an error, contact the language department by email at:

You need to tick the lecture as well as one of the available method conferences for the registration to work.

You will get a message saying "Associated class required" if you tick only one of the boxes.

See the video: how to register for a lecture & conference compound module?

A "scheduling conflict" or a "time conflict" occurs when two classes overlap making it impossible to register for both.

If you try to register for a class that overlaps with a class you are already registered for, you will get an error message saying "erreur d'ajout d'inscription" (registration error) with the course code of the relevant course.

To help you avoid making this mistake, the conflicting classes are greyed out.

See the video: what is a scheduling conflict?

In the first year of your bachelor's degree, you must choose a "triplette", this is a group of approximately 20 students with which you will attend method conferences ofand three compulsory classes: history, economics and political institutions.

When you are choosing a triplette, you must use the number (for example: GROUPE 14).

Then, when you are registering, you must tick the method conferences of the triplette group you have already chosen. The conference numbers appear in the title column (for example: Revol. empires & nations - G14)
