Responding to the liquidity crisis: the case for long-term SDG financing
À propos de cet événement
Le 22 juin 2023 de 11:00 à 12:00
This panel discussion will explore the difficulties faced by developing countries in financing the SDGs amidst a liquidity crunch, and how inefficiencies in the global financial architecture lead to chronic underinvestment in sustainable development. Drawing from a paper published on the occasion of the Summit, the panelists will debate the scope for better aligning financing with the SDGs and discuss solutions for making the global financial architecture work better for sustainable development. Opportunities to rethink the role of Official Development Assistance and to enhance the capacity of developing countries to design and implement country-led SDG financing strategies will also be examined
