Arnold Schwarzenegger is the former Governor of California and the founding chairman of the USC Schwarzenegger Institute. Under his leadership, California has been at the forefront in the United States in addressing climate change and pushing for the development of renewable energies.

 

Continuing his commitment to environmental leadership, in 2011 he also co-founded R20, a global non-profit of sub-national governments and regional leaders working together to address climate change and build a green economy.

 

The USC Schwarzenegger Institute is focused on a variety of important public policy issues that Arnold was involved with as Governor from political reform to health, infrastructure to education, and of course environment and climate change.
