1 pl. Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, 75007, ParisOn the eve of the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, thanks to the cooperation with CERI, PSIA welcomes a distinguished panel to discuss Europe's need for a robust security architecture.
The discussion explored the nature of the threats to European security today, and the opportunities and constraints linked with today's configuration of powers and alliances. Amongst the questions to addressed are: What are the evolving threats posed by Russia's invasion and aggressive policies? What are the challenges raised both by the US position under Trump's second administration, and by the changing political landscape in Europe?
The panel is introduced by PSIA Dean Arancha Gonzalez and features the interventions of Sylvie Bermann, former French Ambassador to Russia (2017-2019), and Baldur Þórhallsson, Professor of Political Science at the University of Iceland. Carola Klöck, Assistant Professor at CERI, moderates the discussion.
