“The World, Live”: Kayvon Beykpour, CEO and cofounder of Periscope

Kayvon Beykpour is the CEO and cofounder of Periscope.

 

Periscope is a live video streaming app developed by Kayvon Beykpour and Joe Bernstein in 2014. Acquired by Twitter and launched on March 26, 2015, there are today over 10 million Periscope accounts broadcasting via Periscope and Twitter live videos.

Kayvon Beykpour studied Computer Science at Stanford, and grew up in the bay area. Prior to Periscope, Kayvon Beykpour led the Mobile division of Blackboard where he also served as a Senior Executive for four years after his startup was acquired.
