Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, 75007, ParisJunk - Armadi Pieni is a journey to uncover the truth, narrated through the stories and images of people and ecosystems directly affected by the negative impact of fast fashion. It is not just a project to raise awareness but also a narrative to reassure us all that change is still possible, and each of us has a role to play. The screening will held in italian with english subtitles.
The screening of one episode (20 min), co-produced by Will Media e Sky Italia, will be followed by a discussion with:
- Matteo Ward, film-maker
- Sara Sozzani Maino, producer
- Maxime Delavallée, founder of the CrushON strat-up specializing in the fashion circular economy. and Sciences Po alumni
Matteo Ward is CEO and co-founder of WRÅD, a design studio which focuses on education, innovation, and design as tools to facilitate the responsible evolution of the textile and fashion industry. Matteo is also a member of Fashion Revolution Italia, academic lecturer and has recently joined the EU Commission experts’ team of the New European Bauhaus.
Sara Sozzani Maino, is one of the executive producers of the documentary Junk Armadi Pieni. Expert in fashion sector, she collaborates with educational institutions and serves on several boards working and creating awareness for a more responsible fashion. She is part of the advisory board of the Circular Fashion Summit, in support of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
Maxime Delavallée, Sciences Po alumni, founder of the CrushOn strat-up incubated at Sciences Po. As a B Corp committed to making responsible textile consumption the norm, CrushON is democratizing circular fashion by connecting second-hand fashion professionals with brands and retailers wishing to develop their circular offering, both online and offline.
