"How To Move A Monument", a masterclass with Iván Argote

The School of Public Affairs of Sciences Po and the Cultural Policy Policy stream are pleased to invite Iván Argote, contemporary multimedia artist, for a Masterclass in conversation with Paul Max Morin, author and Doctor in Political Science, and Spencer White, student in the Cultural Policy Policy stream.

Iván Argote is a contemporary multimedia artist whose work explores the dynamics of public space and collective memory. Through sculpture, public installation, film, painting, and performance, Argote challenges dominant narratives with a blend of critique, humor, and tenderness that encourages reflection and constructive dialogue. By inviting audiences to rethink relationships between power and place, Argote’s work steers us toward new futures based on care and mutual respect.
