Globalization after the Current Crisis: Can we Still Defend It?

An internationally renowned economist, Jagdish BHAGWATI takes conventional wisdom—that globalization is the cause of several social ills—and turns it on its head, according to the Council on Foreign Relations. He has been Economic Policy Adviser to the Director General, GATT, Special Adviser to the UN on Globalization, and member of the Advisory Committee to UN Secretary General Kofi ANNAN on the NEPAD Process in Africa.
