Creative Climate Action: A conversation with members of the Independent Climate Task Force

Appointed by the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po, the Independant Task Force on Creative Climate Action consists of 15 distinguished members with diverse backgrounds to think through on the ‘how to’ pragmatics, and to formulate guidance on bold climate actions based on principles of equity and mutual interest. The report of the Task Force is expected to highlight time-bound measures and next steps, for consideration at the Bali Summit of G-20 leaders in November 2022.

At this event, students will interact with members of the task force. The discussion will be chaired by Professor Shiv Someshwar, task force convenor and a visiting professor at Sciences Po and Columbia University.

 With members of the task force:

  • Susanna HECHT (United States), Professor, Graduate Institute, Geneva
  • Frannie LEAUTIER (Tanzania), Partner and CEO of SouthBridge Investment, Kigali
  • Stefano MANSERVISI (Italy), chair of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund, former senior official at the European Commission
  • Rohini NILEKANI (India), Founder-Chairperson of Arghyam, a foundation for sustainable water and sanitation initiatives across India
  • John G. ROBINSON (United States), Joan L. Tweedy Chair in Conservation Strategy at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)
  • Naresh C. SINGH (Guyana), professor, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, Jindal Global University, Sonipat
  • Sébastien TREYER (France), Director, Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI)
