In the wake of the work and commitment of visual and performance artist Kubra Khademi, Galerie Eric Mouchet brings together, from January 24 to March 7, 2026, twelve contemporary Hazāra artists originally from Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan. The exhibition invites to explore singular artistic worlds, reflections of a collective destiny, where textiles pay homage, memory is written in red, and resistance in miniature.

Alongside the exhibition, this roundtable discussion, followed by the screening of a film, will bring together artists and scholars to address the material and affective connections of the Hazāra people across the borders of nation-states.

2:00pm–3:00p.m.: tour of the Ham Sāya Kouh Hā exhibition at the Éric Mouchet Gallery, 45 rue Jacob, with exhibition curator Émile Drousie.

3:00pm-4.30pm: Round table moderated by Fariba Adelkhah (CERI-Sciences Po) and Emile Drousie in Room H405, 28 rue des Saints-Pères, with the following speakers:

Kubra Khademi, visual artist and performer
Amanullah Mojadidi, artist and doctoral student, IHEID
Paniz Musawi Natanzi, visiting professor, University of Bern

4:30-5:00p.m.: Break

5:00-7:00p.m.: Screening of the film Kamay (watch the trailer here), by Ilyas Yourish and Shahrokh Bikaran (Afghanistan, Belgium, Germany, 2024, 106 minutes). The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Ilyas Yourish, moderated by Laurent Gayer (CERI-Sciences Po).
