The Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) is honored to welcome Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya a leader of the democratic opposition in Belarus. Students will have an opportunity to engage in a direct discussion chaired by Arancha González, the Dean of PSIA.

Watch the replay:

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya ran to become Belarus president in 2020 when her husband, Sergei Tikhanovsky, was imprisoned for his opposition to the Belarus regime. She contested the re-election of Lukashenko in the face of strong evidence of electoral fraud. A former professor and translator of English, Tikhanovskaya is now a refugee in Lithuania where she leads the Belarusian democratic opposition.
