Bruno JULLIEN is Senior Researcher at CNRS and the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). He is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society, of the Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI), of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), of CESIfo and of the Centre for Market and Public Organisation. He is currently co-director of the TSE Digital Center.
His research interests cover industrial organisation, in particular network economics, IT, competition policy and the economics of multi-sided platforms. He currently holds an ANITI chair for his project The effects of AI on competition in the marketplace and was a recipient of an Advanced ERC Grant.

Kirabo JACKSON is the Abraham Harris Professor of Human Development and Social Policy at Northwestern University. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He serves on the Committee on the Status of Minority Groups in the Economics Profession at the American Economic Association. Among his editorial duties, he was appointed lead editor for the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy this year.
He is a labour economist who studies education and social policy issues. The bulk of his work is focused on better understanding teacher labor markets. His extensive work on teachers analyses the role of peer learning in teacher effectiveness, how student demographics directly affect the distribution of teacher quality across schools, how a teacher’s effectiveness depends on the schooling context within which they operate, how best to measure teacher quality, and other related topics. His research has notably been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Spencer Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Smith Richardson Foundation and his work is regularly published in leading economics journals.

Marta SANTAMARIA is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick since 2019. She is also a Research Associate at the CAGE Research Centre.
Her research interests focus on international trade, urban economics, and development economics. She was the recipient of the 2019 Young Economist Award by the European Economic Association, just after being awarded her PhD in Economics by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

Alessandro PAVAN is Professor of Economics at Northwestern University. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, and of the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory. He is also an Affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Among his editorial duties, he served as Lead Editor of the Journal of Economic Theory, Foreign Editor of the Review of Economic Studies, and Associate Editor of Theoretical Economics and the Journal of the European Economic Association.
His research concerns the analysis of the role of information in strategic situations of interest to both micro and macro-economics. In particular, his research focuses on global games, the social value of information and coordination, mechanism and information design, matching, competing principals, privacy, information aggregation, and two-sided markets.
