In class with Kamel Daoud

Sciences Po’s first writer in residence chair was launched in February 2019 as an original initiative to enhance its students’ creative expression. Kamel Daoud, the first writer to take up the chair, taught students for one semester. What did students learn in classes like “L’écriture à rebours" (writing backwards) and "L’écriture, la lecture et la construction du sens" (writing, reading and constructing meaning)? Our video takes a look back at this unique experience, the first of its kind in the French university landscape.
