All You Need to Know About the Graduate Admissions Procedure for Fall 2027

Are you planning to apply to Sciences Po's for the fall 2027 intake? Here is everything you need to know before starting your online application. 

If you are applying for a two-year master's programme via the international procedure:

The international procedure is for candidates pursuing or who have obtained a foreign higher education diploma. The procedure consists of an evaluation of the application file.

Application deadline: 21 February 2027.

Depending on the date you submit your completed application, if you submit your application before:

• 18 October 2026, you will receive our decision before 17 December 2026
• 29 November 2026, you will receive our decision before 11 February 2027
• 3 January 2027, you will receive our decision before 1 April 2027
• 31 January 2027, you will receive our decision before 6 May 2027
• 21 February 2027, you will receive our decision before 3 June 2027

For the Joint Master in Journalism and International Affairs and Master in Journalism, the application deadline is 3 January 2027 and decisions will be released by 16 April 2027.

If you are applying for a two-year master’s programme via the French procedure:

The French admissions procedure concerns candidates who have or are pursuing a French higher education degree. It consists of an admissibility phase with a double evaluation of the application, as well as an admissions phase (a remote interview).

• Deadline for creating your account and admission file: 16 December 2026. After this date, no new application can be created to apply for a single Master’s degree at Sciences Po. Only candidates who have created their application and chosen their programs before this deadline will be able to complete and submit it.
• Deadline for submitting a complete application file: 8 January 2027. No additional documents will be accepted after this date.

If you are applying for a dual degree programme:

If you are applying for a one-year Master's programme:

Deadline for applications: 4 April 2027.

Depending on the date you submit your completed application, for complete applications received before:

• 24 January 2027, you will receive our decision before 25 March 2027 
• 4 April 2027, you will receive our decision before 27 May 2027
