World Health Organization Director-General candidates present their vision
On 10 February 2017, the three candidates selected by the World Health Organization Executive Board for the position of Director-General were at Sciences Po to discuss the major challenges facing global health in the years to come. In an interview for Sciences Po, the three selected candidates Dr David Nabarro, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Dr Sania Nishtar share their priorities for key global health topics.
This event, organised by the Sciences Po School of Public Affairs in Paris, was the three candidates’ first public conference since their selection, and the only such event intended for the French-speaking world. The next WHO Director-General will take office on 1 July 2017.
