Sciences Po welcomes refugees

In response to the current migration situation in Europe and France, Sciences Po is welcoming refugees into its classes. A group of twenty refugees aged between 20 and 40 years old have begun language classes in French and English. They can also access Sciences Po’s online learning resources. Watch the video.

The “Welcome refugees” initiative at Sciences Po was launched by a student involved in two NGOs, Kiron and Insertion du coeur. By offering language classes to refugees, Sciences Po aims to help meet their demand to improve their language proficiency, and thereby support their efforts to settle in to their host country. In addition to these language courses, some Sciences Po students and administrative staff will run conversation workshops.
