Mark Lowenthal is currently a distinguished visiting professor at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), teaching a course on “Introduction to US Intelligence.”
Mark Lowenthal has held several senior government positions in the United States, including Assistant Director of Central Intelligence for Analysis and Production; Vice Chairman for Evaluation on the National Intelligence Council; and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence.
He is the President and CEO of the Intelligence & Security Academy in Arlington, Virginia.
He has written several books and among others Intelligence: From Secrets to Policy (Sage/CQ Press, 7th ed., 2016).
