With the 40th anniversary of MSF/Doctors Zithout Borders, « Humanitarian Negotiations Revealed » reveals the MSF experience and the debate on the practices and the objectives of contemporary humanitarian action, while relating the evolution of humanitarian goals, the resistance to these goals and the political arrangements that overcame this resistance (or those which failed to do so). Former President of Doctors without Borders, Rony Brauman is the Scientific Advisor for the Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action. He is currently Director of Research at the Doctors without Borders Foundation and also an Associate Professor at Sciences Po. Fabrice Weissman has been working with Médecins Sans Frontières since 1995. He spent several years in the Horn of Africa (Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia) and in West Africa (Liberia, Sierra Leone). Since 2000, he has been alternating field missions and research studies with the CRASH/MSF Foundation. Through lectures by highly distinguished guests on pressing global issues, PSIA is offering a vibrant platform for public debate in international affairs.
