Enfranchisement and Representation: Italy 1909-1913
By Valentino LARCINES, Associate Professor of public policy at the London School of Economics. His main research interests concern the relationship between democratic institutions and redistribution and the role of mass media in advanced democracies.
A graduate in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi and a recipient of the Mortara scholarship from the Bank of Italy, he has obtained a Master of Science from University of York, a doctorate in Economics from Università degli Studi di Milano and a PhD from LSE. Pr Larcinese has held various visiting appointments, including at Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona, MIT and Bocconi.
He is visiting professor at Sciences Po during the academic year 2012-2013.
