Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Regina, Canada

For more than thirty years, Dr. Malcolm Wilson has played an influential role on the world stage in the research and development of enhanced oil recovery and carbon capture and storage. Dr Wilson is currently the COO of a Regina-based bioenergy company, Prairie Biogas Ltd, and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Regina, Canada. Dr Wilson was the director of the Office of Energy and Environment at the University of Regina from 2000 to 2010, and the CEO of the Petroleum Technology Research Center in Regina from 2010 to 2013. Dr Wilson was a member of Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and a lead author on the IPCC Special Report on Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (2005). The IPCC was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Al Gore in 2007.
