Presentation
What place for African creation within the ICC global network? Is Africa a new land of creative business activity or the place where disruptive and new inspiring imaginary landscapes are emerging? What can we learn from creations, modes of production, and broadcasting strategies within the African art world? How can African artists, with new forms of expression such as AR/VR, XR and metaverse, help to develop new narratives and new models, in line with our fast-changing societies?
This Masterclass will be the opportunity to present Yara Costa Pereira’s XR artwork Nakhoda and The Mermaid, the Forum Création Africa and the forthcoming Maison des Mondes Africains.
