3rd Global Thematic IASC conference on the knowledge commons: when commons meet law and policy

From the 20th to the 22d of October 2016, Sciences Po Law School organises the 3rd international conference on knowledge commons, in collaboration with the International Association for the Study of Commons, founded by Elinor Ostrom, Nobel Prize in Economy.
Its theme will be the role of commons in law and public policy.
Several parallel sessions will address commons in international law and in intellectual property, indigenous and local knowledge, urban knowledge commons, and scientific research considered as a commons.
Amongst the keynote speakers, Isabelle Stengers, Professor in philosophy the University of Brussels, Julie Cohen, Law Professor at Georgetown University, Geertrui van Overwalle, Law Professor at Leuven University.
