Licinia Güttel, 19, was born and raised near the small town of Koblenz, Germany. After graduating with honours from Werner Heisenberg Gymnasium Neuwied, she enrolled to study for the Sciences Po-Freie Universität Berlin dual Bachelor’s degree in political and social sciences. She is also the first recipient of the Stephen M. Kellen scholarship, a dedicated scholarship for students on the Sciences Po-Freie Universität Berlin dual BA programme.More
The first five students to benefit from the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Programme at Sciences Po come from across sub-Saharan Africa. Astou Diouf, 18, is from Senegal, Zipporah Gakuu, 19, from Kenya, Romaric Compaore, 18, from Burkina Faso, Ashale Chi, 17, from Cameroon, and Fitiavana Andry, 17, from Madagascar, making this first cohort representative of Africa in all its diversity.
Following an agreement between Sciences Po and the Inlaks Foundation in October 2015, a recipient of the prestigious Indian scholarship will attend Sciences Po this fall for the first time. Both French and international students can receive financial aid from the CAF (Caisse d'Allocations Familiales) for their housing. Students can receive this benefit should they choose to rent an apartment (furnished or unfurnished), stay in a student residence or have another type of valid, legal lease. Moreover, the rental agreement must be made out in the student’s name and they cannot be a relative of the property owner.More
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines has signed an agreement with Sciences Po to finance at least ten full scholarships for Filipino students admitted to Sciences Po at graduate level. Each scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, health insurance, the visa application and a return airfare ticket. In addition, Sciences Po will help subsidise scholarship students’ tuition fees. More
As Adán Corral finishes the second semester of his Master’s in International Public Management at the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs, he is coming close to completing an essential part of his studies.
The 27-year-old, born in Morelia, Mexico, has had a remarkably dynamic education: he has studied in both Mexico and China, and did internships in Iceland, Italy and Belgium. None of these international experiences would have been possible without financial support.
