The first undergraduate programme developed by Sciences Po in Latin America
Taught in French, English, and Portuguese, this four-year programme combines Sciences Po’s academic excellence in the humanities and social sciences with FGV EAESP’s recognised expertise in public administration and business management. It is designed for high-achieving students from Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the rest of the world who wish to thrive in multicultural environments and contribute to the dialogue between the Global North and South.
“Internationalisation and the development of leaders with a systemic and global vision are part of FGV EAESP's DNA. Extending this historic partnership with Sciences Po to the undergraduate level is a fundamental and strategic step for both institutions. This dual degree will offer students a unique pathway, integrating Sciences Po's analytical and socio-political rigor with our tradition of excellence in management and public policy. Together, we are shaping the talent that will build the necessary bridges between Brazil, Europe, and the world in the coming years.”
Professor Luiz Brito, Dean of FGV EAESP.

« The creation of this dual degree programme with FGV EAESP marks a new milestone in the partnership that has united our two institutions for more than twenty years. As the first bachelor’s-level programme developed by Sciences Po in Latin America, it reflects our conviction that today’s major challenges call for truly international educational programmes capable of fostering dialogue among different fields of knowledge, cultures, and perspectives. This outstanding programme will prepare our students to take on leadership roles in both the public and private sectors in a rapidly changing world. »
Luis Vassy
President of Sciences Po
A multidisciplinary, trilingual programme, spanning Poitiers and São Paulo
Students will spend their first two years on the Sciences Po campus in Poitiers, where they will take foundational courses in history, law, economics, political science, and sociology as part of the Latin America-Caribbean geography minor. To ensure a truly immersive academic and cultural experience, non-Portuguese-speaking students will take mandatory Portuguese language courses upon arrival at Sciences Po, in addition to French and English.
They will then continue their studies for two years at FGV EAESP in São Paulo, where they will choose one of the following two tracks: the Bachelor’s in Public Administration or the Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
At the end of the four-year programme, graduates will receive a Bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po as well as one of the two Bachelor’s degrees awarded by FGV EAESP.
Strong international employability
Graduates will be able to pursue a master’s degree at Sciences Po, FGV EAESP, another international university, or enter the workforce directly.
They will have numerous career opportunities in France, Brazil, and around the world, in both the public and private sectors. Career paths include consulting, public policy, institutional relations, project management, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
