A new MBA/MPA dual degree between HEC Paris and Sciences Po
French business school HEC and Sciences Po are launching a dual Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Public Affairs (MPA).
The dual MBA/MPA programme is designed primarily for young international candidates with a few years’ professional experience in the public or private sectors. The two-year programme is taught in Paris; the first year at HEC for the MBA from September to July and the second year at Sciences Po from the end of August to June of the following year. Students take the full MPA programme in one year and complete the MBA in a year instead of 18 months. The final semester of the MBA is completed with credits transferred from the MPA.
The programme will provide students with a complementary approach combining advanced managerial skills from the MBA with the analytical tools taught in the MPA. Students’ keen understanding of both the private sector and public authorities will equip them for roles at the public-private interface and for dealing confidently with all regulatory matters.
Applications for the MBA are currently open for the 2017 intake. MPA applications will open in October of this year for the 2018 intake. These applications are to be submitted separately.
