Sciences Po’s seven schools welcome graduate students from all over the world. Our graduate programmes provide students with both an in-depth academic background in the social sciences and hands-on experience of the professional field they aim to work in.

The Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) aims to train and shape global actors able to understand and respond to the complexities of our world.
PSIA offers a choice of seven Master’s programmes in the most salient fields of international affairs. The wealth of courses on offer allows students from all backgrounds to build a solid expertise about the most major international challenges of the present and the future. At the beginning of its 2nd decade, PSIA is proud to gather a faculty body composed of World-renowned professors and leading practitioners teach over 400 courses annually and welcome over 1500 outstanding students from more than 110 countries.
Master's Programmes

The PSIA curriculum combines conceptual foundations and current scholarship with the most up-to-date operational training and best practices. PSIA offers a choice of the following seven Master’s programmes.
Environmental Policy
A multidisciplinary degree training a new generation of policy makers, project managers, analysts, auditors of environmental issues at the global level.

Human Rights and Humanitarian Action
A degree offering an innovative training by taking an approach that intertwines human rights and humanitarian action, with core social science theoretical and practical approaches.

International Economic Policy
The programme focuses on the issues of global economic governance: currency wars, optimal trade levels, transfer of technologies, sovereign debt, climate change, etc.

International Energy Transitions
The programme responds to a growing worldwide demand in energy expertise, in the context of global warming, and key challenges for each country and the international community.

International Development
A degree offering an innovative training in international development based on a renewed approach to sustainable economic growth and political practices.

International Governance and Diplomacy
The programme provides an in-depth view of a wide range of policy issues involving international governance at the international, national and local levels, and the practice of diplomacy on both a multi-lateral and bi-lateral basis.

International Security
The Master focuses on issues in the international security field : remodelling of geopolitical systems, new forms of crises and conflicts, controversial military interventions, etc.
Regional and Thematic Concentrations
PSIA offers students the opportunity to complement their Master’s specialisation with a rich choice of cross-cutting regional and thematic concentrations.

The programme educates future journalists to analyze the complex world they will report on with an international approach, covering crucial information and events.

PSIA has partnered with internationally renowned universities to offer dual degree programmes at the Master's level.

French Dual Degree programmes
PSIA offers dual degree programmes with 4 French universities, as well as a joint degree with Sciences Po's School of Journalism.

One-year Master’s programme in Advanced Global Studies
The one-year Master’s programme at PSIA is designed for graduates with at least five years of professional experience, who are seeking to broaden their expertise in one of the cardinal fields of international affairs.
