Inequalities and world (dis)order: lessons learnt from the Y&LSummit 2018
Several former prime ministers and ministers from around the world, a former UN envoy, a European commissioner, a Nobel laureate ; during the 2018 edition of the Youth & Leaders Summit, Sciences Po students were invited to interact with international leaders about "Inequalities and world (dis) orders".
Organized each year by Sciences Po's School of International Affairs, the Youth & Leaders Summit brings together leading international figures and Sciences Po students.
Opened by French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, the 2018 edition was attended by Donald Kaberuka, former President of the African Development Bank and former Minister of Finance of Rwanda, Cecilia Malmström, European Commissioner for Trade, Mohamed El-Baradei, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, former director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Lakhdar Brahimi, former UN special envoy to Syria, and Yanis Varoufakis, former Minister of Finance of Greece. Enrico Letta, former Italian Prime Minister and Dean of the School of International Affairs, closed the day.
