Thinking Like a Researcher at the School of Research

Drawing up a bibliography, finding the right methodology, exercising a critical eye: training in research and through research is invaluable.

The School of Research at Sciences Po offers research-based Master's programmes and PhD programmes in law, economics, history, political science and sociology. A graduate education at the School of Research equips students to pursue teaching or research careers and for senior positions in international organisations, consulting firms and businesses.

The 2024 graduation ceremony was illustrated by a video presenting the graduate school, which brings together master's and doctoral students, exposing them to different research approaches and teaching them the rigour required for research work, as well as inviting them to take part in professional development workshops.
