Sciences Po Presidency: Mr Mathias Vicherat elected by both Boards

Following the review of the applications submitted by the 3 candidates for the presidency of Sciences Po , the Board of the Institut d'Études Politiques, chaired by Jeanne Lazarus, has selected yesterday Mr Mathias Vicherat by an absolute majority.

The FNSP Board of Directors, chaired by Laurence Bertrand Dorléac, voted today by a two-thirds majority in favour of the same candidate.

The FNSP Board of Directors and the IEP board having reached an agreement, the latter having voted yesterday, they will transmit their proposal today to the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

The appointment of the IEP President-FNSP Administrator shall be the subject of a decree by the President of the Republic and an order by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the commitment of all the Sciences Po communities that have worked to contribute to the candidates' proposals”, declared both presidents.
