Sciences Po Presidency : Three Candidates Selected

Following the proposal committee’s examination of the 23 applications for the new President of Sciences Po, 3 candidates have been shortlisted :

· Olivier Faron, Managing Director of the Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers and Professor at the Sorbonne University

· Christine Musselin, Director of Research CNRS at Sciences Po’s Centre for the Sociology of Organisations

· Mathias Vicherat, Civil Administrator, previously General Secretary for Danone. 

"The committee chose from amongst many extremely qualified candidates," affirmed Laurence Bertrand Dorléac, president of the FNSP and Jeanne Lazarus, president of the IEP's Board of Directors.

The proposal committee’s shortlist has been forwarded to the FNSP’s Board of Directors and the IEP’s Board of Directors.

On the 9th of November, the IEP’s Board will vote ; the FNSP’s Board will vote on the 10th of November.

Once the Boards have reached agreement, the name of the selected candidate will be sent to the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation on the 10th of November.

The appointment of the IEP President-FNSP Administrator shall be the subject of a decree by the President of the Republic and an order by the Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
