Campus on the docks: study in Le Havre

Located in a city listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, the Le Havre campus is home to the Europe-Asia undergraduate programme. Students spend their first two undergraduate years in Le Havre and then go on a year abroad to complete an internship or study at one of Sciences Po’s 470 partner universities.

Social sciences with a dual focus on Europe and Asia

The Europe-Asia programme consists of a multidisciplinary core curriculum in the social sciences (economics, law, history, sociology and political science) with a focus on political, economic and social issues in Europe and Asia.

Courses are mainly delivered in English and non-French speakers must take French lessons (and non-Asian students must learn an Asian language: Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Korean or Indonesian are offered).

International dual degrees

The Le Havre campus offers dual Bachelor’s degrees, where students spend two years in Le Havre followed by two years at a foreign university. These students obtain two bachelors: one from Sciences Po and one from the other university.

Students spending their first two undergraduate years in Le Havre can choose from several prestigious dual Bachelor’s programmes, with Columbia University (New York, USA), the University of California Berkeley (USA), the University of Hong Kong (China), the National University of Singapore, the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada), Keio University (Tokyo, Japan) or the University of Sydney (Australia).

Studying and living by the sea

The Le Havre campus is home to a close-knit and friendly community of fewer than 300 students. Students come from 35 different countries with a third from France, a third from Asia and a third from the rest of the world. The port town of Le Havre offers the ideal setting for an exceptional undergraduate experience close to nature.

Sciences Po makes sure that classes are complemented with extracurricular activities. Student life is kept vibrant by energetic student clubs and events (sports, arts, associations, etc).
