A Look Back at Sciences Po’s Student Welcome Festival

To greet new students and celebrate the start of the 2025 academic year, the Student Union (BDE) of Sciences Po’s Paris campus hosted its welcome festival, aptly named “Sous le ciel de Paname” (“Under the Parisian Sky”). With DJ sets, food trucks, games, Just Dance, blind tests, and student performances, the Paris campus was transformed into a full-blown festival!

This rallying event for the Sciences Po student community was not only a warm welcome for newcomers, but also an opportunity to introduce them to the vibrant world of student associations and the activities available throughout the year. Students from the Undergraduate College (Bachelor’s) and the graduate schools (Master’s and PhD) all joined in for this festive day, which featured a wide array of cultural and sports activities, association booths, food stalls, and music from morning to evening.
