World Energy Outlook 2021
About this event
20 October 2021 from 19:30 until 21:00
Following the publication of their report on “Net Zero by 2050” this past May, and just ahead of COP26 in Glasgow, the International Energy Agency has published the 2021 edition of their flagship World Energy Outlook on October 13.
Continuing a tradition of several years, Tim Gould, IEA’s Chief Energy Economist, will present the report at a time of great turbulence in global energy markets, with prices for natural gas, oil, coal, electricity and carbon all heading towards high or even unprecedented levels, and threatening the global post-Covid recovery.
What are we to make of the current situation? What scenarios for the future of energy and climate change?
Event chaired by Giacomo Luciani, Scientific Advisor, Master in International Energy, Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA).
Guest Speaker: Tim Gould, Chief Energy Economist, International Energy Agency.
Discussion by Audrey Quehen, Managing Director, external relations Department, ENGIE and Anne Geschke 2020/21 student representative of the Master in International Energy, Sciences Po PSIA.
