Héla Cheikhrouhou is the Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund. With close to 20 years of experience in project and development finance, Héla Cheikhrouhou has extensive knowledge of international investment flows. She is widely recognized as a visionary leader on global climate finance.

 

The Green Climate Fund, which has been established as an operating entity of the Financial Mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, is mandated to promote a paradigm shift towards low-carbon and climate-resilient development pathways by supporting developing countries to address their climate change mitigation and adaptation needs.
