A conference with Leo Michel, a nonresident senior fellow with The Atlantic Council’s Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security in Washington, DC.
His expertise is thanks to an illustrious career both in the government and outside of it.
Leo Michel held high-level leadership positions in the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency – among others – and served as a national security aide for a member of Congress and as a reporter for French media.
A former member of the US Navy, Leo Michel has directed seminars and taught at illustrious institutions like the National War College, American University, and Sciences Po.
His research interests include NATO’s adaptation to the European security environment, US-Europe defense relations, and the European Union’s Common Defense and Security Policy.
