Sustainable Finance: Perspectives and Challenges
About this event
28 November 2017 from 18:00 until 20:00
Sustainability is the model for Europe’s future development – and finance is an essential lever for achieving ambitious goals for economic prosperity, social inclusion and environmental regeneration.
Sustainable finance is about two imperatives: the first is to orient capital flows to sustainable and inclusive growth, the second is to strengthen financial stability and asset pricing, notably by integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into financial decisions.
Come join the discussion around the following questions:
Why do we need to reshape our financial system today?
What does a sustainable financial system mean?
How is this going to affect the work of public and private financial agents in our economy?
