Rashid Khalidi is a prominent Palestinian-American historian and intellectual, a former president of the Middle East Studies Association. He has authored eight books, the last of which has been translated in French in January 2026 by Actes Sud : Cent ans de guerre contre la Palestine. Une histoire de colonisation et de résistance. He will present his work on Palestinian history and discuss the current transformations of academic research on Palestine and the Middle East, in a context shaped by wars, political polarization, and pressures on universities and scholars.
