An exceptional discussion with Dr Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Dr. Abdullah had previously served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2001-2006. In 2006, Dr. Abdullah served as Secretary General of the Massoud Foundation. He ran in the 2009 Presidential election and again in 2014. The difficulties around the 2014 elections led to the formation of a National Unity Government with Dr. Ashraf Ghani serving as President and Dr. Abdullah Abdullah as Chief Executive of the government.
