David Rieff is a Senior Fellow at the World Policy Institute at the New School for Social Research, a Fellow at the New York Institute for the Humanities at New York University, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a board member of the Arms Division of Human Rights Watch, Central Eurasia Project of the Open Society Institute, and of Independent Diplomat.

The former President of Doctors Without Borders, Rony Brauman is the Scientific Advisor for the Master in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action, PSIA-Sciences Po. He is currently Director of Research at the Doctors Without Borders Foundation and also an Associate Professor at Sciences Po. A recipient of the Prix de la Fondation Henri Durant, Rony Brauman is a frequent contributer to Alternatives Internationales. He co-founded and directed “Libertés sans Frontières”, where his writing focused on under-development, and emphasized the important linkage between autonomy, civil society, democratization, and economic development.
