Food Security in the Horn of Africa

The Horn of Africa is the stage of recurrent food crises affecting the livelihoods of millions of people. This conférence will look at the characteristics, causes and main challenges of food insecurity in the region, followed by some lessons learned from recent experiences in addressing food insecurity. Finally, an overview will be given of the EU assistance portfolio to enhance resilience and food security in the region.
