COP21 and the Future of Energy – World Energy Outlook
About this event
11 April 2016 from 21:15 until 23:15
Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) presents a panel discussion, featuring the presentation of the World Energy Outlook 2015.
The annual World Energy Outlook is the International Energy Agency’s flagship publication, used as a reference by both governments and the energy industry. It incorporates the latest data, advice and projections to give a comprehensive and authoritative analysis of medium- and longer-term energy trends. The 2015 edition includes a focus on energy and climate change in the run-up to COP21.
Based on scenarios presented in the International Energy Agency’s World Economic Outlook 2015 and just after the historical diplomatic success of COP21, the panelists will discuss priorities and realistic intermediate goals for the industrial as well as major developing countries. Will we be able to deliver?
