27 rue Saint-Guillaume, 75007, ParisSciences Po's Paris School of International Affairs is pleased to host Kevin Rudd, President of the Asia Society and former Prime Minister of Australia, for a dialogue with students.
From his extensive experience as a diplomat and head of government, and his expertise of international relations including his deep knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region, Mr Rudd will share his views on the current US-China relationship and its implications for the global order.
Biography:
Kevin Rudd became president and CEO of Asia Society in January 2021 and has been president of the Asia Society Policy Institute since January 2015. He served as Australia's 26th Prime Minister from 2007 to 2010, then as Foreign Minister from 2010 to 2012, before returning as Prime Minister in 2013. Since leaving Australian politics in 2013, Kevin has continued to engage in international affairs through prominent academic roles and the presidency of the Asia Society. In addition, he is the author of several books and major reports, including the latest “The Avoidable War. The dangers of a catastrophic conflict between the US and Xi Jingpin’s China” (2022).
