Elisabeth Miljkovic is a PhD candidate at the Center for international research (CERI). She studies multiple belonging among descendants of immigrants who came to France from the former Russian empire, fleeing the 1917 revolution and the civil war that followed. She initially worked on the Russian orthodox church, its plurality, its place in Russian society, and its relationship to the political field.

She has taught a methodological course at the Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco), an introductory course to political science at Sciences Po, where she also worked as a teaching assistant to Juliette Galonnier for her course titled "Religion, politics and society".

She is a fellow of the University Consortium, which brings together students and scholars from Harvard, Columbia, Oxford universities and Sciences Po.

She was awarded the Young Researcher Award 2023 from the Treilles Foundation.
