On 24th February 2020, PSIA Dean Enrico Letta gave a talk on EU Foreign Affairs in the Post- Brexit era during the 10 year PSIA Anniversary kick-off celebrations held  in Nairobi. The cocktail reception converged PSIA alumni, the European community, journalists, and our academic partners at the Sankara Hotel. It was a great occasion to celebrate the wonderful achievements our Alumni continue to accomplish in the region.

A reception dedicated to PSIA Alumni was hosted by Dean Letta and Vice-Dean Maloney, on 27th February,  in London.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate the school past achievements and to discuss the forthcoming ones. Alumni were happy to reconnect with their peers and to share their respective experiences. Some PSIA Faculty attended as well and very much enjoyed meeting with their former students. Discussions, including with Dean Letta and Vice-Dean Maloney, were very animated and fruitful.

In this world ranking released on March 4, 2020, Sciences Po is positioned just behind Harvard University, and tied with Princeton University.

Students are invited to reflect on the concept of sustainability in urban areas and to write a white paper with concrete policy recommendations on the following topic: “Sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11): which models and policies to enhance the cooperation and partnerships between France and Turkey”.

The authors of the two best papers will receive an award of 1000 euros for the first price and 500 euros for the second price.

Launch of the Chair in Sovereign Debt

Sciences Po launches a Chair in Sovereign Debt, hosted at PSIA, which will study sovereign financing and debt sustainability. Through the association of debt practitioners and renowned academics, this Chair aims to become an international reference on the issue.

The Chair was launched on 27 November 2019 with an inaugural lecture by Aléxis Tsípras, former Greek Prime Minister, as the guest of honour.
