Housing economics

Bio :

Guillaume Chapelle was a Phd student of LIEPP/Departement of Economics from 2013 to 2017 under the supervision of Etienne Wasmer ans post-doctoral fellow for a year. He defended his thesis: "Land and the Housing Market: Three essays on the role of land and its implications for public policies" in February 2017. 

From October 2017, Guillaume Chapelle will continued his research in urban and housing economics as a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Economics of Barcelona (IEB) and then as an assistant professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise.

He graduated with a master degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris. His main field of research is the housing market and the impact of housing policies. He has a particular interest for the relationships between social housing and the real estate market.

Since October 2017, Guillaume Chapelle has continued his research on urban economics and the housing market at the Center for research in economics (IEB) within the Barcelona University.
